Dr. Ashley Kittridge, DO, FAOCD, FAAD
Dr. Ashley Kittridge is a board-certified dermatologist in the South Hills of Pittsburgh with a passion for quality patient care and with an expertise in medical and cosmetic dermatology. She is the owner and founder of the first direct care dermatology practice in the Pittsburgh area. Her practice model puts the patient at the center of their care and eliminates distractions from insurance companies and government regulations. Dr. Kittridge is dedicated to working directly with and for her patients and not a third party.

After graduating from Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania Dr. Kittridge attended medical school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania. Dr. Kittridge was a member of Sigma Sigma Phi Honors Society, was awarded academic achievement awards and scholarships and graduated near the top of her class. She subsequently completed an AOA/ACGME accredited internship at the Western Pennsylvania/Allegheny General Hospital and went on to complete her residency in dermatology at Case Western Reserve University/University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio.
During her career Dr. Kittridge has published numerous peer-reviewed articles and book chapters on topics including autoimmune blistering disorders of the skin, cutaneous findings in rheumatology disorders, hair loss, and atypical skin infections. She has presented at local and national meetings.
Dr. Kittridge is a fellow of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology (FAOCD) and the American Academy of Dermatology (FAAD). She is also a member of the American Society of Dermatology Surgery, International Peels Society, Pittsburgh Academy of Dermatology, Pennsylvania Academy of Dermatology and Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association.
Her interests include the complete spectrum of general adult and pediatric dermatologic conditions. She also practices dermatologic surgery. She has experience performing thousands of surgical procedures, and a compliment of cosmetic dermatology procedures including peels, micro-needling, platelet rich plasma injections, injectable soft tissue fillers and neuromodulators (Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®). Dr. Kittridge remains active in her education and continues to further her knowledge with the most up-to-date general, surgical and cosmetic dermatology treatments. Performing peels is one of her favorite procedures. As a member of the International Peels Society, Dr. Kittridge has worked directly with national and international leaders in the field to adapt extremely effective, efficient and safe chemical peeling techniques. Chemical peeling is an art and a science. It is not a one size fits all approach.
The Less Nerdy:
Dr. Kittridge grew up in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and is happy to have returned to her roots to practice dermatology. In her free time, Dr. Kittridge is often found walking the township or visiting one of the many community parks with her husband and son. Aside from her sons birthday, one of her favorite days of the year falls in July, when both she and her husband get to celebrate a shared birthday!

Favorite procedure to have done?
I won’t lie, I have 3 favorites: toxin, micro-needling with PRP and peels! These low-downtime procedures make me want to do the happy dance.
Favorite skincare routine?
My current favorite is an anti-aging cocktail. In the daytime, I love the SkinBetter Science Alto Defense Serum Advanced, SkinBetter Lines and the Alastin Hydratint SPF. Upneeq! It is the only FDA-approved prescription eye drop for low-lying lids that lifts your upper eyelids to visibly increase the aperture of the eye creating a more rested and youthful appearance (even on your most tired days!). Definitely a mommy must-have, but also a great option for men!!
Favorite sunblock?
Sheesh, thats tough! I alternate between Alastin Hydratint, SkinBetter Science’s Sheer SPF 70 and PCAs Sheer Tint SPF 45- all are serious must-haves!
